House Vichten

This chalet is situated in Vichten, in central Luxembourg. You will never get enough of the beautiful views offered by this house. You can enter the house either via the external staircase or through the garage via internal staircase. The bright, spacious living room with a fireplace, the kitchen with a Senseo machine, the two bedrooms and the WC (one step) are all located on the same floor. The bathroom is located on the ground floor. There is ample parking space at the house and in the garage, so you can store your bikes and motorbikes if necessary. The fence behind the house opens out directly on to the forest. From the covered balcony of the chalet, you can enjoy a beautiful view over the fields and the forests of this quiet area in Luxembourg. Vichten is situated in a beautiful green, hilly landscape with quiet country roads and forest paths. It is not only a paradise for hikers, but also for cyclists and mountain bikers. Vichten is also a good starting point for visiting Luxembourg City, located 30 km away. You can buy the tourist pass 'Luxembourg Card' and travel by train from Mersch to Luxembourg City free of cost. With this card you can gain free admission to more than 70 museums and attractions all over Luxembourg. You will find several swimming pools in Mersch and Redange situated 10 km away from your house. This quiet village of Vichten owes its international fame to a Roman mosaic depicting the nine muses, which was discovered in 1995. You can buy fresh bread at the bakery located 2 km away. For your everyday purchases you can go to Mersch or Redange.
